Ko-Ach Adventures

This year Ko-Ach Adventures will be offering a new Weekend Family Program, aimed at both enhancing the value of our program to each of our participants and providing meaningful and fun programming for whole familes. 

 

Ko-Ach's Weekend Family Retreat accomodates family schedules by providing weekend programming and camping within a few hours drive from Toronto and Ottawa.  This year's program will offer families a weekend of respite, solace, and adventure, while also providing a genuine outdoor adventure experience for all. 

 

 

 

 

 

The weekend will include a collection of fun, adventure and learning, while also making for a serene family experience.  Games and activities for our participants will allow parents to engage first hand with the therapeutic benefits of wilderness tripping and to see their children thriving in a unique environment.  Paddling, hiking, portaging, campfires, and sunsets are essential parts of the experience and will allow the whole family to enjoy the successes that only the canoe trip experience can provide. 

 

This year's Weekend Family Program will travel to the Barron Canyons of Algonquin Park, whihc offers the most scenic hike in Ontario and a visit to High Falls (a majestic waterfall that will provide a lasting memory).  This route is remote enough that it will provide all with a meaningful wilderness experience, but well enough travelled that it remains accessible to any and all family members.
